“Thru Religion is a 3D printed object created by Drzach & Suchy. The object has multiple shadow-casting elements, semi-randomly arranged in three dimensions. When you rotate the object to the right position in front of a light source, you can see 3 different religious symbols.”
Amazing work. I like the layers of meaning hidden in this piece. Three come to mind: There is the visual complexity of the object, referring to the complexity of religious belief. Secondly, there is the similiarity between different believes. Yet you cannot see two symbols at the same time which reflects very well how we can be stuck in our world-views, unable to identify with the other.
